I need help!!

So there's a girl in my class, pick me and WAY TOO CRINGE, and she's suddenly into reading books and she said that she's gonna buy a book and asked me for some recs.
She said she wants to read dark romance but ik what dark romance is for her. Books where the word 'condom' is mentioned. She was even asking me if there would be any dark romance book in our school. Our school doesn't even have any romance books!
In the end, me and my bsf decided to recommend a book that has less spice or no spice. A book that we didn't like becuz we know that the book she's gonna read is gonna be ruined for us after she's done reading it. We just know it. So we tried recommending It ends with us and it starts with us but she said that her bsf (who has a good taste in books, but not better than me and my bsf) already has those books so she can borrow it from her and needs more recs.


In conclusion, we need recs for a book that you hated/disliked. It needs to have less spice/no spice. Thanks!
