Librarians shouldn't change covers off valid editions. If this happens to you please report to Support.

I can't use a page count from a different edition & this edition isn't on World cat. but if you can assure me that your count doesn't include advertising material, an extract from another book or blank pages right at the end I'll be happy to add this for you.

The story ends on page 270. Page 271 is blank and page 272 has some information about the printing (type of paper etc).
