Lilja(Gibsie’s version୨ৎ) | 168 comments Ove been in my room a lot the last weeks and I’m just mentally drained and it sucks
Like an hour ago my mom and dad was going grocery shopping and my mom said ”what is it?” And I said ”I’m just reading” and he said ”you never want to be with us anymore” and I don’t know what to do

Lex the Ken fan | 150 comments sometimes parents don't understand what are we doing or why are we doing it. it's obvious that if you don't feel alright you won't be that active as usual but it doesn't mean we hate our parents and they have to understand it. maybe you should talk with them about this, but it'll be complicated because what if they aren't gonna understand so instead of saying your exact problem maybe you should just say that you are just tired and you don't really feel good, but that doesn't mean you never want to be with them, it's just a phase.
ps: hope you'll get better!<3

ella | 2650 comments also if you don't feel comfortable talking to them you could write/journal your thoughts I did that for a period of time when I was not feeling okay. I still occasionally write poetry when a thought comes to mind.

Kie (kie06) | 170 comments Try to explain that it has nothing to do with them, you’re just drained. Let them know you love them, because you never know when it’ll be your last day, and don’t take your parents for granted (as someone who wishes she spent more time with her parents) just sitting in the same room is enough for parents most of the time

A~ | 44 comments Hey, I just wanted to say I totally get how you’re feeling. I’ve been there too, and it’s such a draining place to be mentally. Sometimes it feels like being alone is the only way to recharge, even if it ends up making things more complicated with family.

Your dad's comment probably came from a place of concern, but I know how much it stings to hear things like that when you’re already feeling low. Just take things one step at a time, it’s okay to need space. you’re doing the best you can, and that’s enough.

joasia | 2 comments if you feel you're able to, try to talk with them abt it. it's the best and wisest method of solving problems

Alexandra⋅˚₊‧ ❀ ‧₊˚ ⋅ I hate when that happened. Sometimes parents can be rlly ignorant to our mental health. keep going luv <33
