I thought I was a librarian, but I can't edit anything

Hello,

I am wondering if I misunderstood something on my account. I had submitted a request to be a librarian and I thought it was approved.
I think I am missing something. Is there a certification or training of some sort I can complete?

I cannot seem to add a book to a series at this time. Should I submit a request instead?
