Hi Patti! Do you have a physical copy of this book with you? Worldcat does list it as 270, however Amazon lists it at 288 (https://www.amazon.com/Ashes-Never-Li...). Sometimes there is a discrepancy between page count data between the two sites.

Yes, I have my library copy with me. The book ends on 270. There is a two-page Author's Note and then the author's bio after that, but those pages are not numbered. There are also several pages before Page 1 with lists of the author's books, etc, Again, those pages are not numbered. I would guess that's where the discrepancy comes in. If, like me, you are reading the books, however, you really just want the actual page count of the story and that's what Worldcat shows. (Just counted those unnumbered pages and, yes, there are 18 of them. There's the discrepancy.)
