My friends told me it's a good book, what do you think?

This book changed my life. I saw this in my school library, picked it up and I thought "oh, I have been wanting to read this book for a while" and then decided to only read a couple of pages. That is not what happened.
This book is a fantasy, war time, romance and perfect for the autumn and 1940-50s vibes. The plot isn't very fast, but the work place enemies, banter between the two and the YA romance, I loved. And the letters and the articles and things like that were so fun to read. I found that I really related to the femal MC, and her personality. Overall there wasn't a part of the book I was bored. So if you enjoy these vibes, and like books about war and gods, but it isn't too much fantasy, it's quite realistic, give it a go.

I POSITIVELY LOVED THIS BOOK
-enemies to lovers trope
-Fantasy
It's a bit of a slow burn I think, but it is so worth it. I feel IN LOVE with these characters and this whole book. DEFINITELY recommend.

I was expecting it to read more fiction, and it wasn't super plot driven, mostly romace. Not my perfect cup of tea, but I enjoyed it and will certainly pick up the next one soon!

THIS BOOK I READ IT IN JANUARY AND I'M REREADING IT RN

It is a great book. Its cutesy and easy to read and a good story!!!

It's so good you have to read it!!!

I really liked the first book and I was expecting great things for the second book, but I was pretty disappointed. I think the world is cool but it lacked the actual world building. All in all, it's a pretty good read but don't go in with super high expectations.

I loved this book! I don't think it has a super strong plot but the romance makes up for it! Such a good read

rebecca ross always eats up when she writes, but i personally fell in love with her vivid descriptions in the writing of this one. however, i cannot get into the sequel

I really enjoyed this book! Like others are saying, the fantasy elements aren't super strong, but I kind of loved that about it. It may not have been a life-changing read for me, but it was sweet and enjoyable. Definitely recommend, especially if you need a break from epic fantasy, deep world building, and complex magic systems.

OMGGGG I LOVE THIS BOOK SO MUCHHH. It's perfect for people who love writing and any dark academia

I read book 1 of this duology, the flow of this story is great, it made me want to read continuously without stop. IT is a fantasy-romance genre- enemy to lover - the approach for this story is good with mild fantasy and romance. I highly recommend you to experience this novel, but still i have not started reading the second book......hope i will start reading so0n ^_^.

its a really good book

Ok, so personally I was a little let down because I thought it would be more of a fantasy vibe but it was mostly romance. As soon as I finished reading I knew I wasn't going to read the second one but looking back I think if I went into it knowing it was going to be more focused on romance I would have liked it better. I might reread it when my TBR gets shorter so my opinion may change.
