Sandra | 31485 comments This doesn't appear to be a series by GR standards.

We need characters that cross over between books, a setting or world but not a theme.

What makes this a series?

Carmen | 303 comments I've started to listen to the audiobook "Las que no duermen" and it's said at the beginning that this is the second book in a series of four called "Los valles tranquillos" being the first one "Esperando al diluvio"

Sandra | 31485 comments Unfortunately Carmen, that's not enough to make it a series here on GR.

When you've finished the 2nd book, and you can advise that it does make a series, please post again and tell us why it is a series.

An author or publisher saying it is a series, with no connection except theme, doesn't make a series here on GR.

Carmen | 303 comments If what the publisher or the author herself declare is not reliable enough for GR who am I to say otherwise.
Nevertheless, I heard Dolores Redondo saying in an interview that though, apparently, the first and the second books are not related the connection between them will be revealed in the third book of the series.
By the way, the protagonist of "Esperando al diluvio", Noah Scott Sherrington, is a former patient of the late mother of NASH Elizondo, the protagonist of "Las que no duermen".
This book is related to the "Trilogía del Baztan" too, due to the cameo of Amaia Salazar, helping NASH to solve the mystery, as well as other characters that have more or less relation to previous books by the author and their setting in the villages of the Baztan valley.

Sandra | 31485 comments Well if the 3rd book reveals the series we'll just have to wait for the 3rd book.

Sorry Carmen, we have to abide by the rules or risk our librarian status.
