This is still being debated lol. For now just use as stand alone and we can update it if they say we can use it!
By the way - I was moving this weekend and had no internet but I am back! Have a really busy couple weeks but I am around and will be updating the spreadsheet n stuff. Hope everyone is having a good week! :)
Carrie wrote: "I'm going to the library later today. I will look for books for color cards because none of the ones I have at my house work. I added

Both would work! Darkly for grey and crown of midnight for black! I just checked them both. :)
Oh and reminder to everyone to check the spreadsheet for any books you’ve read!! We have so many reverse cards this month!
I’m not sure if I’m doing something wrong, I’ve tried to link not good reads link in title but jyst shows the link not the title.
Thanks Leslie Ann! Kat- if you are on a computer you can press ctrl-k or command k while in the cell and insert the link. Or there is an option to do it in the menu options too!
Zoë wrote: "Thanks Leslie Ann! Kat- if you are on a computer you can press ctrl-k or command k while in the cell and insert the link. Or there is an option to do it in the menu options too!"
Not on computer I’m on iPad. I don’t know how to do it
Zoë wrote: "Thanks Leslie Ann! Kat- if you are on a computer you can press ctrl-k or command k while in the cell and insert the link. Or there is an option to do it in the menu options too!"
on a apple phone when inside the spread sheet , click on the cell you want to add a link , then on the + sign ... in the upper right hand corner and select add link
this should work on an ipad too

Thanks I’ll try
Hey everyone! Please check out the spreadsheet - we still need a bunch of color covers and we need more Reverse card options!
You can claim one of those under the Overload color in the color section. We only needed one more of those. :)
I think I misunderstood the Overload colors. I thought we had to use a purple cover.I just finished
which can work for one of the color cards. I'll keep looking but those F's and I's are tough!
Carrie wrote: "I think I misunderstood the Overload colors. I thought we had to use a purple cover.I just finished

Overlaid can be purple, pink, orange, brown, white, or black. I wish we had more of those because they are easier lol.
And yeah the “I”s and “F”s are rough!!
Last night I threw a couple “maybes” in there for me but feel free to take those if you have something that works. I am working my way through the ones I already have checked out and a few are the color ones. But I’ll keep looking for some too.
Also if anyone is looking for color covers - if you use a search engine and type in “yellow covers” and “Goodreads” you’ll find a bunch of lists that people have put together already for different colors.
I put Other Birds in for Blue #4 Zoe. You had a book listed there but no completion date. If I took something I shouldn't have, please remove it.I did a quick check on Tineye and it came in at over 64% blue.
Oh it’s the book I’m about to finish tonight. Lol. I meant the ones I put “maybe” on. Hahah. It doesn’t really matter which book covers it though just as long as it’s covered!
APRIL MINI In a galaxy far far away .... don't panic .....OK, actually you can start panicking a little bit.
You are going on 🛸 The Great Galactic Book Quest 🌌
The Galaxy awaits - but before you launch your ship into the stars, you’ll need to build it from scratch, assemble a top-notch crew, and chart a course into the unknown.
Your tools? Books.
Crack open a sci-fi adventure to bolt on the engine. Devour a fantasy epic to recruit a magical mechanic. Need a brave pilot? A clever detective? A chance to contemplate the meaning of life? A robot who’s good with spreadsheets or an alien with other necessary skills? There’s a book for all that.
With every story you finish, your ship gets stronger, your crew gets weirder (in the best way), and your cosmic path becomes clearer. Where are you headed? Who knows! That’s half the fun.
Are you ready to read your way into space?
◈ Every book read, i.e. every task completed, is worth 10 points. Each book can be used for one task only.
◈ Books for tasks can be finished in any order. No need to complete blocks to get the 10 points/book.
◈ Books used for this mini challenge do not need to be separate books from what you are claiming for your UNO hands.
◈ The usual book length rules apply.
◈ Team spreadsheets will be updated with a mini challenge tab so that you can track your books and claim your points.
◈ Books can be started at any point since the start of the UNO challenge (Feb 1).
◈ Books need to be finished after the start of this mini challenge on 15 April, 9am UTC
Sorry for the delay on this! I have been so busy the past few weeks and this week it all came to a head! Here are the tasks for the April Mini - check and see what you've read already that works and claim whatever you plan to read for :) The spreadsheet has been updated!

I found a couple other books for blue and yellow that I added. Hoping those don’t turn out to be horrible so I can read them hahah. I just scrolled through the library app looking for color covers in the available books hahah.

I went through my kindle covers looking as well. This one looked most interesting out of the ones I found. Hopefully it’s good!

Hahaha I did that the other day too and just didn’t find a ton that I was in the mood for. I gotta be in a specific mood to sit down and read on my kindle when I’m busy. Hopefully this summer I’ll have some more time to just sit by the pool and read rather than listen to my audiobooks while doing stuff!

Ha! Thank you! I was luckily moving all of my stuff to a different service (proton drive) and had backed up everything to move it. So happy that I had done that just a day or two before too so we didn’t lose too much. I was like AAAHHHH when I realized what I had done hahah
On track to have my Yellow 9 finished. Hopefully I’ll have at least one other? What time is the latest we can add to the spreadsheet?
Last day of the month. And then I have a couple days after that to get everything in. We will be using some UNO pixie books this month because we have someone who hasn’t been as available this month. I’m thinking we will be okay but any reverse or color books everyone can do would be great! I’ll get on in the next couple days and update the spreadsheet so we can see where we are at.
Oh also, please make sure all books are on your UNO shelf! :)
I have work today and trying to finish another book too hopefully I manage it. Don’t think I added anymore books but I’ll check
Zoe - I finished Chain-Gang All-Stars. We had huge storms roll through yesterday and have no power or WiFi. I’m going to do a brief completion post here in case I can’t update until later (which may be too late). Completion Post;
Chain-Gang All-Stars
Author: Nana Kwame Adjei-Brenyah
Yellow #9
Date Read: 4/30/2025
Since this is being used for yellow 9 I’m not going to put other options. If needed, let me know.
Can be used for Mini #5. All characters on the chaingang must come up with a defensive strategy as their lives depend upon it.
Thanks Carrie! I’ll make sure this gets in there! Kat - the link the for spreadsheet is in a comment of mine above. I’m on the Goodreads app so I can’t repost at the moment.
Everyone - I’ll be updating the spreadsheet later today!
I was able to add it to the Spreadsheet plus I managed to finish one more today. That'll be it for me! Thanks Zoe!
Zoe, thanks for being captain. I know it is work! Awesome job. Team - great fun reading with all of you, have a great summer!
@Kat I can't find your UNO shelf anywhere?? I know you had one - all your books need to be on the shelf to be counted. Please! :)
@Katie K. Please put Reckless on your UNO shelf @Caresse - I don't see any books on your UNO shelf that are on the spreadsheet. I added Butcher & Blackbird, otherwise, nothing else can be used and nothing is marked as read?
@Kayla - I added two books from your UNO shelf but don't see anything else on the spreadsheet at all. Were there other books?
