I do. I will be done with my humor book today and my poem book probably tomorrow or Monday!
Hey, I was just looking at the Mini sheet - (I realised the book I finished this morning works for the tea task so yay!) - and I noticed that The Ragpicker King has been put down for 2 tasks and I didn't do that. I put it down for the "24. Read a book with some kind of chase in the plot " task. It's also down for the "9. Read a book from a Trilogy" and I just wanted to bring that to your attention, I'm not sure if the series will be a trilogy as it's not finished and Cassandra Clare has implied it might end up being a 4 book series. This was probably just a little copy paste error or something, just thought I should point it out!
Oh thank you!! That was my bad. I totally missed that it was already on there. And since only 3 had been announced I thought we could go with it. But if we know anything about Cassandra Clare she rarely stops at 3. lol. I was trying to make things work for some of the harder ones so I moved a couple things around and tried to add from what I thought wasn’t on there yet. I’ll delete that asap. And yay tea task!!
If anyone is reading something from a trilogy throw that in there!
I am unable to access the spreadsheet today and maybe tomorrow. I have a completion post for the March mini though.

I got it in there, thank you!!
Thanks for letting us know Kat. Can anyone else do a 5 GREEN? We also still need a wild draw 4 - which is just a repeat of any of the color cards we have this month.
I might be able to help with wild draw 4 I’m reading a green cover
Authors surname starts with H
Main Character is Fern
Green 3 or 4

Cool, we can use that for Wild Draw 4 for 4 GREEN!
Okay I FINALLY found a book for the BYPASS task. Took forever. We have these two left:
- Read a book with a character who works in the construction industry
- Read a book with some kind of fish on the cover
Anyone have anything they can do before the end of the month?
One good one for the fish task is Light from Uncommon Stars if anyone is interested. It was fantastic.

Yay glad I could help with that one.
I went through some books and found some books of y'alls to add to the mini. I realized that I wasn't going to read all that I had thought I would! We still need a 5 GREEN as well. I've been looking for anything that might cover both the 5 GREEN and the minis but I can't find anything. I also don't do most romance and those were the main ones I could find (at least for construction) - so if anyone is a romance person you could probably find something!
Here is a list I found: https://www.goodreads.com/shelf/show/...

Wish this was carrying over to April and I could’ve helped with the mini but I know we have a new one.
2 things:I messed up. The book I was reading had what I thought was poems but they are actually folktale songs so it's not going to work.
Did anyone read anything that will fit? If not, I will find something.
Also, I think I found something for Green 5 if this is green enough:
If this works, it also has a poem by John Berryman at the front of the book

Looks green to me! Does it have a construction worker at all? Let me know hahah. I think we can find poems in some of the other books read this latter half of the month. I remember some from my books for sure. But construction worker has been challenging! If not, no worries!
I found a book for fish on cover but I really can’t find a book for construction worker that isn’t smut and I don’t read smut. Does anyone have any suggestions? I can probably fit both books in before the end of the month, if I have to, but I need to actually find a book!
Carrie wrote: "Finished my book and updated the spreadsheet! Is everything finished for the month?"
Here is what is still being read:
SKIP Yellow - Life's Too Short - Kayla
Wild Draw 4 - 4 GREEN - Kat
Mini Tasks:
The Return of the King - Ashley
Butcher & Blackbird - Caresse
Sleeping with the Fishes - Zoë
I am going through the spreadsheet now for everything else, so I will update this if there is anything else that we really need - but I think we have enough books to cover all the things.
Please put on your UNO Shelves:Leslie Ann - Cockroaches
Caresse - Heartless Sky, Tender is the Flesh
Ashley M - Onyx Storm
Okay so we are all good on everything else! Just waiting on those last books and those few to be shelved. Woohoo!
I’ve added Daniel hurst doctors widow to wild card but I see all dates scored out for the colour cards so not sure if I’ve done it right and do I still add the book to main list?
Add it to the main list and above where wild card 4 is listed in the color cards list. Everything crossed out is what is finished and added to the spreadsheet. :)

Can you add it to the bottom part too? That way you can put in how it fits for 4. thank you!
I’ve claimed red 3 colour card. Hope that’s okay, I’m at work tomorrow so wouldn't have chance before
Kat wrote: "I’ve claimed red 3 colour card. Hope that’s okay, I’m at work tomorrow so wouldn't have chance before"Of course!
The April sheet is all up and ready!
Everyone - we have a TON of REVERSE and Color Cards this month. So, please see if you can read for those earlier in the month than later :) Claim away!!
April Changes things up a bit!Wild Draw 4 cards are no longer in play. You get OVERLOAD cards instead!
◈ What are Overload cards?
Overload cards also cover color cards, but they require different colors.
The colors you can use for Overload cards are the following:
- purple
- pink
- orange
- brown
- grey
- white
- black
You can only use each cover color ONCE. They are worth 30 points and don't have to fit any letters, only colors.
We have 2 this month, so I have added them to the Color Card area in our spreadsheet.
Kayla wrote: "Sorry for the last second finish but just finished Life's Too Short!"How was it? This is on my potential list for another challenge
What are the requirements for nonfiction books? I placed stand alone and Indiana, PA (for the setting) but there are people with dialogue in the text. Do they count?

Carrie it depends on how it’s written. Most nonfiction you can’t count characters unless it’s something like Eat Pray Love - where it’s like a story but nonfiction. Feel free to send it to me or post it here if you’re unsure and I can check with the mods too.
Justice WantedMarlene Gentilcore
It’s nonfiction but it’s basically the author telling her experience as an investigative reporter trying to find answers about their son’s death while away at college.
Thanks 😊
Kat wrote: "Does books have to be 50% colour to count?"Yes. At a minimum 50% of the cover has to be that color.

I’ll check into this soon. I have been moving and with no internet!

No problem at all. It could still be used for a stand alone even if none of the characters (people) can be used right?

Read a book that contains at least part of a poem or where a reference is made to a poem or a poet in text
and
Read a book with MPG Comedy or MPG Humor or tagged minimum 10x
Do you still have those covered? I just didn't see any books with those so I wanted to check in.
