Team Challenge: UNO 2025

Team Interstellar
So we can count ones we start in February? I’m hoping to finish at least one more but I’m working this morning then tomorrow. And out tonight as me and my fiancé have been together for 16 years today.I’ve added death bed but I won’t finish that in time so can someone remove it from February as it won’t let me.
Hey Kat! Yes you can add anything started after February 1st to any month as long as you finish it in that month. And I’ll check out the spreadsheet tomorrow and get us all updated!
HI all! I am updating everything from february on the official spreadsheet now! Will update with anything, but we should be good to go. Yay one month down!
Okay it's all good! We only read one extra book this month that we didn't need. Perfect amount of reading!I have moved the leftover books for February to March - feel free to delete them if you have decided to not read them.
I will post March's Color books etc here shortly.

I’m getting confused with the spreadsheet, the March section shows books finishes in January and February I know we can start them anytime but don’t they need to be finished in March to be counted for March
Zoë wrote: "Yes they need to be finished in March to count for March!"Okay just saying cos there’s books in March section with finished dates of jan and feb
We have some new people and I think some just got moved over without really looking. I’ll look at it next week at some point. :) thank you!
Hey team! How is everyone doing? What's a book you always want to recommend? Maybe list the genre and what you liked about it and we can find some good books for the Reverse tasks! I'll go first:
Ascension by Nicholas binge is a science fiction, horror, mystery, and cosmic horror book that I loved. I have been thinking about reading it again, actually. It really plays on the fear of the unknown so many of us have and does it in a way that I loved.
If you need an easy read that is cozy and silly and fun, then look no further. The Spellshop has it all. It is the best book for when your brain needs a break. :)
Every Little Breath physichlogoicak thriller 5* which had me gripped from the start to the last page. Maybe in Another Life beautiful, capturing what would happen if you choose the other way. Sliding doors kind of book. So good
I really enjoyed The Spellshop! I enjoyed it more than I thought I would tbh!I would recommend:
- Grab tissues for this one. Not my typical genre but well written, a great story and characters to fall in love with. It's basically about 2 sisters in France who are trying to survive the German occupation during WWII and they have very different ways of going about it!
- Chris Whitaker has become known mainly for his 2 newest releases but I fell in love with his writing when I read this book! This story centers around a young girl named Summer who goes missing and the search to find her. While this book is labeled as a mystery/thriller, it is SO much more. It's a coming of age story and a great character study!
The first in the Washington Poe series. It's a dark and witty suspense novel. Poe is an ex-Detective Inspector who is unlike any other DI ever written. His helper, Tilly Bradshaw, is also one of the most interesting characters I've ever read. She's on the spectrum and has a personality disorder which points a unique spin on everything that happens throughout the book.
Leslie Ann wrote: "Sorry guys I had knee surgery on Monday. My reading has been down."No worries! Hope you feel better soon!
Carrie wrote: "I really enjoyed The Spellshop! I enjoyed it more than I thought I would tbh!I would recommend:

I added in my books that I already had planned for this month so far into the Mini spreadsheet. I also added an area where we can put in if the book works for another task so we can move things around if need be. I tried to cover some of the harder ones with my books too! Check it out and let me know if you have a book that doesn't work for any of them or only for one that has already been claimed and we can figure something out!
Great! Thanks Carrie! I am going to update the official spreadsheet today so everyone please update your books when you can please! And please don’t forget to add your info to the March mini spreadsheet! :)
Hey everyone! We haven't heard from a few people - if you hven't commented in awhile please do so, so we know you are still around!
Also, please make sure you are adding links to your books in the spreadsheet so we can see the books for Reverse purposes and also because we need them for the official spreadsheet!
That being said - please go through and check on any reverse books!
There are also two book on the spreadsheet with no name attached to them. Please put your name on those if they are yours :)
When you add a book to the spreadsheet you need to link the Goodreads link of the book to the title. :)
Zoë wrote: "When you add a book to the spreadsheet you need to link the Goodreads link of the book to the title. :)"Didn’t know that I haven’t done gat for any of my books, will I have to go back?
Katie H or myself have done it for any books so far that have been used. It just takes us a lot longer to have to go find which book someone read and if it’s not on an UNO shelf that makes it impossible and then we can’t use the book at all until it’s on a shelf and we have a link. It just makes things way more complicated and take much longer than needed. lol. There’s a lot of backend organizing going on so I’m just trying to make sure captaining doesn’t become a second job hahah 😅🤣
Zoë wrote: "Katie H or myself have done it for any books so far that have been used. Just not links as didn’t have to previous times so didn’t know.

Hey, sorry! I've been away all week! Not much reading unfortunately but I'm back now! Will hopefully finish the book I'm reading now soon and get another one read by the end of the month - I am the slowest reader ever
Thanks for checking in Katie! And no worries about slow/fast. Everyone put in their monthly amount of books when they signed up so the whole team should read enough to do all tasks as long as no one way under reads. Though last month I read way more than expected too so it often evens out. Hahah. @Kat - no worries!
Oh also - make sure to check out the mini and see if anything works for your books! Only a few people have added their names to it. Also I added a bunch in but if you have a book that only works for one that I marked - let me know. Most of those have other options so we can move things around if needed.
Hello, just checking in. I can't believe how fast the month of February went and now March is going! I'm looking forward to starting:

Am I still down for 5 green?
0 - 7 were required. 2 have been used. 5 left. And yes if you marked it on the spreadsheet then you’re down for the green cover! I didn’t mark any as pending that we already have covered by people planning on reading them.

Ok thanks
Ooo fun!! Yeah big trip! Hope you have a blast! I was just looking at these birds they call Snow fairies there in Hokkaido. They are extremely cute. Haha
Okay I went through and moved some stuff around and added what I could from all of y'alls books and here is what we still need for the MINI Challenge still:- Read a book with some kind of fish on the cover
- Read a book with a teacup/mug on the cover or where tea is consumed during the course of the plot
- Read a book with a spaceship on the cover
- Read a book with a character who works in the construction industry
- Read a book from the shelf ALIEN or ALIENS
- Read a book with the letters BYPASS in title (subtitle incl.) and/or author's name
- Read a book with the word GUIDE in title (subtitle incl.) or series title
- Read a book with MPG Alternate History or tagged minimum 10x
- Read a book with MPG Travel or tagged minimum 10x
I had to take a couple of books out because they were finished before the Mini started (March 15).
I can't cover all of these so please see if you have any books that can cover these tasks :)
Thank you!!
