"Echidna finds herself on the wrong side of the road. She has to cross a busy highway to return to her home. Echidna makes new friends and has some spine-chilling adventures in her attempts to return home. This is a light-hearted interpretation of the plight of animals living on the fringes of human settlement.

Echidna Crossing is based on the animated film by Maggie Geddes and Neil Robinson, produced as part of the Kaboodle series for the Australian Children's Television Foundation."
