Drace (dracenines) | 7367 comments So, I send messages to Goodreads Staff through the Contact form pretty frequently. The Goodreads bot is Not Good and combines ebook and Kindle editions on a regular basis, and I usually end up having to ask staff to fix the problem since librarians can't move ISBNs. Normally they get the issue fixed within a few days of my message being sent in, but this past week, I've only received a scant few responses and most of my requests for help have gone unanswered. So, are the librarians having better luck with contacting staff about assorted site issues, or is everyone on the site, both librarian and standard user, having problems getting through?

Sarah | 1533 comments I'm a Librarian and I don't have any problems getting through that I've noticed. Some issues take longer for them to take care of though so it can take a few days for them to get back to me. I also think it depends on their workload.

Tawnya | 4026 comments I figure it is because of the update. Normally they answer within 12 hours, but some requests have been open for a few days. I also noticed new names. Since we still do not have full access I am going to hazard a guess that support is in the same bind. I remember one of them telling me that they also have a limit! That blew my mind. I get us Joe Schmos being locked out, but support is actually paid.


Carol She's So Novel꧁꧂  | 2278 comments Also it is just after thanksgiving/Goodreads choice Awards/Christmas which I would expect to have a lag time.

My flags have been answered quickly, but I still have two outstanding message requests. One of them they have now sent me three emails that they are looking into it & will get back to me.
