Yes I get the same thing. I still have yet to read any of them.

I've never gotten the short stories. I'm not sure I want to commit to a subscription of the Volume before seeing what's in it. Darn maybe, hopefully, I'll get a sample.

I bought the first 3 volumes of the series and I liked the first one, kinda liked the second one and did not like the third one.

I think the biggest problem with this set of short stories is that - typically when you get an anthology, there is a theme to it. Whether it's holiday stories, horror stories, stories about family, etc, you have a small idea of what the stories are going to be about.

These sets defy that, so the small set of them are all over the place - spicy romance, mystery, then horror then sci-fi. It feels disjointed and it makes it hard to transition from story to story (especially when so many are just 3 or 2 pages).

I love short story sets - I think they are great palate cleansers between books and are great to get people out of reading slumps and get reading done during busy times

but I am struggling with this set of them.

I've received all of them. The first one was okay but they seemed to get worse as they progressed. I just got book 6 and am getting ready to start reading it. Hopefully, it's better than the last one.
