Hey Friends,

I wrote "Business as a Baby" - the first book in my four-part series on business growth stages - because I made the classic entrepreneurial mistake: trying to run before I could walk. Like many founders, I let early success with a simple textbook arbitrage business go to my head.

I was making $2,000 a week in college just flipping books, and thought "Hey, I can totally build a tech startup!" (Spoiler alert: I couldn't.)

Instead of growing my working business step by step, I jumped straight into trying to build the "Chumz app" - burning through savings, my parents' money, and two years of my life because I treated a baby business like it was already a Fortune 500 company.
This book isn't another shiny success story. It's hard-earned wisdom from someone who crashed and burned, spent two years blaming everyone else but himself, and finally figured out that businesses need to grow through natural stages - from baby to toddler, teenager, and finally adult. Just like human development, you can't skip these crucial growth phases.

Through working with clients at my consulting firm TheChumEffect, I've seen countless entrepreneurs make the same mistakes I did. That's why I developed the Business as a Baby (BAAB) framework - the first installment in a comprehensive series that will guide you through each stage of business growth. The upcoming books "Business as a Toddler," "Business as a Teenager," and "Business as an Adult" will complete the roadmap for your entrepreneurial journey.

If you've read "Business as a Baby," I'd be deeply grateful if you could take a moment to leave an honest review. Your feedback not only helps other entrepreneurs find this resource but also helps me understand how to better serve this community as I continue developing the rest of the series.

And if you're an entrepreneur who's made similar mistakes - know that you're not alone. Sometimes our biggest failures lead to our most valuable insights.

Thank you for being part of this journey,
