YESSSSSSSSSSSS. I have had this problem. I may focus on other things, like movies, for a while, and then all of a sudden, I'm like, oh, yeah, I want to read a book! It's okay to be off your game. Might be time for a break.

Thanks, Adelaide! I guess I just have to give myself permission to let reading alone for awhile. It's bad when seeing the prompt to join the Goodreads 2025 Reading Challenge actually made me angry, lol. Too much pressure, man, when I can't see myself enjoying a single book any time soon.

I put this month's book on hold at my library and will be starting it in a week or two.
Thanks for the advice about the reading slump, Adelaide!

Well, they were really crappy, so I didn’t really like them. Some I did not finish. Really bad: Alien Romulus. Even my husband, who will watch most movies to the end, could not finish it. I figured that the worst book I would read would be 100% better than that movie.
Oh, I did like Skeleton Crew on Disney streaming. It is a kid’s show, but I just loved it!

Yeah, I’m actually a huge fan of the Alien franchise and I didn’t like Romulus.
I just saw “Saturday Night” about the launching of Saturday Night Live. It was fantastic! The guy playing Chevy Chase really killed it. The guy playing Jim Henson was hilarious too.
