Gwenhyver Gwenhyver | 19 comments Hello! I set up my upcoming book with a stand in cover but now need to replace this with the actual cover the book will be publishing with.

The book will be published in 2025, but it doesn’t have a listing on amazon yet. There is currently no assigned ISBN, but it will have this at the point of release (and I will add those details later on).

Book title: THESEUS AND THE SKY LABYRINTH
Author: Gwenhyver

This is the listing where the cover needs replacing:
https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/2...

The proper cover is on my author website - the fourth image along on this page: https://gwenhyver.com/novels

Let me know if there is anything you need to complete this.

Thank you for your help :-)

Gwenhyver

Martin | 36004 comments We check edition details before adding covers. When you have added ISBN or ASIN please link to a cover source which confirms those details. If it is Kindle edition that would be Amazon, if it is non-Amazon ebook source will probably be your own website or publisher website.

Gwenhyver Gwenhyver | 19 comments Thank you Martin. Does that mean I need to wait until the book is published, or is the information on my website enough to show that it will be published this year?

I have ISBNs pre-purchased. Do I need to add that to goodreads at this stage? The ebook will be 978-1-916644-08-3.

My website that shows the book is mine and being published this year is here: https://gwenhyver.com/theseus-and-the...

Thank you for your help :-)

Martin | 36004 comments If you have the confirmed ISBN for ebook you can add it to the Goodreads listing.
When there is an acceptable source to confirm final cover for that ISBN we can fix the image.

Gwenhyver Gwenhyver | 19 comments Hi Martin. Is my website page an acceptable source to confirm the final cover?

message 6: by Martin (new)

Martin | 36004 comments Author websites are acceptable sources.

Gwenhyver Gwenhyver | 19 comments Okay, great. I've added the ISBN to the listing, and this is my website that shows the book will be publishing this year:

https://gwenhyver.com/theseus-and-the...

The flat cover image for the updated cover can be found on the far right of this page, here: https://gwenhyver.com/novels

Thank you for your help, Martin :-)

Gwenhyver Gwenhyver | 19 comments Hi Martin. If there's anything further needed from me for the book image update, let me know :-)

message 9: by Martin (new)

Martin | 36004 comments I can still find no confirmation of edition details (format, ISBN) on the source webpage. Note also that the link you give in message 3 represents a physical edition not ebook.

Gwenhyver Gwenhyver | 19 comments Okay. Updating the website is something I was hoping not to have to do yet. I think I'm going to have to wait until I've published the book on Amazon and then see if a librarian will change the cover image at that point. Thanks.
