How funny... I ended 2024 with a read called Gilt Trip. :o)
Looking forward to adding to my TBR from your "finished" list.
Thank you both! And great coincidence, Karen.2.

I am so loving this series. I recently read book two and could not stop laughing. Between Aunty Boisjoly inspecting the curtains for moths and Vickers forgetting the tea service when serving tea--though extremely adept at remembering conversations and facts!--and Anty's interactions with the townspeople. this read was so much fun. I have no trouble seeing this as a British cozy mystery TV series a la Father Brown (though wittier!, like Jeeves and Wooster solve a crime--how fun would that be!)
Fitzsimmons is so good at the wordplay, but on top of that, we get a good mystery to solve right along Anty. Your review was spot on.
I was on vacation this last week, so here are a couple of books to catch me up:40.
