Ooo I watched the show but I didn’t know it was a book!!
Ohhh. After watching the show I went looking for the book and learnt that it is in German. The author is working on translating it.
Just finished reading "Blindness" by José Saramago and translated by Juan Sager. This book is based in Portugal. I did review it on my page so I wont say much here. Sadly I didn't enjoy this one. I struggled finishing it and almost DNF it about a dozen times. It's pretty much a story about everyone becoming blind except one person. (Trigger warning) There is a lot of talk about excrement and also parts that have to do with things like forced sexual encounters. This book has no quotation marks to track when and who is speaking. This book also scarcely uses periods and uses long run on sentences and paragraphs with lots of comma's. I know this book has a pretty decent rating but it just wasn't for me.

I read the kamogawa food detectives, which is translated from Japanese. Sadly I didn’t rlly like the book ☹️

ive done two books like this so far!! the first two books in the tales from the cafe series are translated from japanese!! and im reading the odyssey rn and the odyssey is translated from roman or something!!
the odessy is translated from ancient greek 😊
I'm reading Beowulf rn!! the Maria Dahvana Headly version
it's actually so good!! it uses modern slang like dude and bro tho, which is weird but kinda works
Just finished The City and its Uncertain Walls by Haruki Murakami. He’s one of my fav authors and all his books are translated from the Japanese!
