I'm heading back to the small town of Monta Clare, Missouri. I've been searching for someone for years.

I'm in England as well, ostensibly to attend a wedding, but I've been side tracked by the murder of one of the opera singers hired to entertain.I'm also in Seattle. I desperately want to open my own dress design shop, but life keeps getting in the way.
I am happy to have left Monta Clare. I am now going to spend some time on the train to Waterloo before bed.
I'm investigating the disappearance of an entire house, which was removed from its foundations and am also considering how to reduce my department by one staff member.
I am knee deep into the art scene in NYC. Getting blackout drunk isn’t helping me remember who offed a famous artist. My ears are in an unnamed city conspiring with my girlfriends to kill our husbands for their insurance money.
I am in the kingdom of the sea god having sacrificed myself as the annual offering as the sea god's wife. I'm also in New Mexico dessert where the skeletal remains of a young woman have been found along with some very rare artifacts. It's all very strange. Articles of her clothing have been found in a straight line behind her. It appears she removed her clothing as she staggered along.
I was in the everglades helping a moronic actor stay alive while trying to film scenes with live wild animals.
I'm in limbo! I've just left Victorian London and now I'm going to see how I'd like being in the ISS orbiting the Earth.
I’m in Prague talking about Noetic science ( the study of how consciousness interacts with the physical world) and solving puzzles.
I'm in Nantucket where the skeleton of a child has been discovered. I'm also with my brother who has taken my under his wing after our father died.
I'm hoping to make some progress on the train to Waterloo today. (I seem to be struggling with physical books recently. I'm enjoying the story, nut just not picking it up.)I am also in Ridinghouse Bay, Yorkshire where in current day I found a man with no memory on the beach and in 1993 my 15 yo sister is being pursued by 19 yo man and I think there's something off about him. Back in the current day I am also in suburban London where my new husband has disappeared and the police have told me he never really existed.
I'm also in limbo! I just left small town Minnesota where a 25 foot statue was stolen and someone was murdered and am not quite sure where I'll land this evening yet.
I'm in the stone age, we call the place West Wood. My man has just been killed and now the murderer has a knife to my babies throat!
I'm in the exact same places I was last week. I hope to move on tomorrow.Tonight I will also be a former FBI agent investigating two bizarre murders of popular online influencers.
I'm in London where I've begged to be made the officer in charge of a 26 year old cold case. I just found the skeleton of the missing child. I feel driven to solve this case.I'm also in another part of London and have just learned that my daughter is coming home. She's going to discover that I don't have that rich life full of friends and activities. What am I going to do? She'll be so disappointed in me.
I'm in England and after being slighted by a proud, wealthy man I have no desire to get to know him even as my sister is falling in love with his friend.
I'm in England doing many things, including traveling. I'm also in the US working in a research centre built like a ziggurat where strange things are going on even though it's about extending human lifespan. There is also a weird place underground where even stranger things are happening.
I completely forgot about this thread this week. I am a retired serial killer living a quiet life until people start knocking on my door trying to drudge up the past. Now I've been forced to come out of retirement. Oh bother.
I’m all over the place but mostly in rural Virginia where I’ve just been indicted for murdering my client. My ears are headed to a retirement home in England
I just left a school in Virginia after fighting monsters in the forest. I'm in Sweden, at an orphanage. A newborn baby was dropped off at the door in the wee hours of the morning.
I'm struggling for recognition as a number meaning nothing and am also in Australia going to school, living with a step-brother, step-mother and my adopted father plus am missing my mother who died when I was small.
I'm in Dublin in the 1970s where birth control is illegal. This is an issue for me and my friend. I'm hoping I can make some changes happen.
Oops - A day late. A dollar short?Yesterday, I was in Sinful, Louisiana where Halloween festivities have gotten a little grim and realistic.
I was also in the UK where the femme fatale met with a fatal end. Hercule Poirot is sniffing out the clues.
I am “on a tree-lined street in Who-Knows-Where Alabama.” I am hoping a little visit here will help me get my memory back a bit and recover from losing my Grandpa. My ears are a very anxious preteen child getting screwed up by an iPhone and society that no longer plays outdoors with friends.
I am an author heading to Jerusalem’s Lot to stay in an old mansion. I am hoping to find inspiration for my new book.
I'm in Amsterdam desperately wanting to learn the secrets that led up to my birth.I'm also in an old castle in Scotland where the skeleton of a man was discovered in the wall. There have been strange sounds and footsteps in closed rooms since. And murders.
It's 1933 and I'm investigating a case after being approached by a woman who's a real phony. There's some big blackmailing going on and I'm going to stop it.
I'll be spending the holidays at a lake house where I'm supposed to be getting away from my life to paint for an upcoming art show competition. However, I've found that the house is also occupied by a golf pro trying to get away to rehab his knee injury. Should be an interesting couple of weeks.
It's 1864 and I am in Colorado after survivng the Sand Creek Massacre. I am being forced to learn English and practice Christianity.
I'm in Gibsons, BC licking my wounds and wondering how I got here. I'm still crushing on Jessie from the Beachcombers, but he's probably an old man by now.I'm also on a bus tour of Scotland and England with an all ladies group. I'm the only one under the age of 60. And the bus driver is the rudest person. I'm also wondering how I got here.
I'll likely be leaving both these places today and headed to greener? pastures.

(nonfiction) I was born and raised on the Sunshine Coast and went to high school in Gibsons (not all 5 years) because the one in Sehelt wasn't built yet--it was built when I was a teen, but only as a Junior high at first. I was an extra on The Beachcombers once (dancing the jive with the only boy who looked old enough who was very tall; I got the part because I was tall.) But only Bruno Gerussi was in that scene and he was not well liked in our area. However, Jessie was played by a local shíshálh (a Salish nation) man (not Cree--they're from far away.) No upper case in shíshálh
I've been recruited late into a space training program for the first American mission to Mars--if I'm accepted, that is. I'm in crush with a brilliant man whose articles I've read, but am not sure if he likes me back.

I don't come across many books with GP in it.
Years ago, I was reading a Harlequin Romance and the MC talked about arriving at the Claremont corner. My ears perked up - we have a Claremont corner. Then she turned left into Grande Prairie. I was floored. She continued through GP to the forestry houses in Grovedale. I lived outside of Grovedale at the time. So surprising. Grovedale is a hamlet. I kept that book for years. I'm not sure if I still have it and brought it with me when I moved into Grande Prairie.
An addendum to my post, Pat John who played Jessie is now deceased. He died in 2022 at the age of 69.

I actually read a mystery book set in the area where I grew up after watching a miniseries on the books. The TV show moved Gibsons to Washington State! It made so many changes to location and the type of police officer it was egregious.
It turns out that in the book he was an RCMP officer (more accurate) who lived in Gibsons but worked in Sechelt (so Wilson's Creek made sense.) However, while I liked reading about where I grew up, it was clear the author didn't know the area and had only visited it. I didn't love the mystery, either, so didn't read more.
I read a novel that was accurate about Sechelt because the author has lived there a long time, but the character was based on someone we both knew (her better than me, although she moved there later) and I don't do well when I know the person a character is based on, but gave the book 4 stars.
Sechelt is an English mispronuncation of shíshálh. One of the reserves for that nation is in the midst of the regional district of Sechelt which was incorporated in the mid-1980s (Sechelt village was smaller and incorporated in the 1950s, apparently. Prior to that places like Wilson's Creek were unincorporated.
Somehow I knew you couldn't live another moment without knowing this ;)
