Carl, We had this set up for October last year and I never got a chance to read it, but I believe Brittni did. I'll join in and read it with you now though.

These were in the voting for BOTM; does anyone want to buddy them instead? I think it was just book 2, but I'd probably need a reread of the first so a series buddy would work for me if anyone else wants to!

I'm going to be starting 
in the next couple of days. It came up as 2 bookmarks in the Goodreads summer challenge so I bumped it to the top of my TBR.
Figured I'd see if anyone wants to join me in reading it.

Sounds good to me, and I think so long as you finish the book by the end of the challenge (in this case I think the end of the month) and contribute 4 posts to the buddy read (I'm pretty sure that's the number) it doesn't matter if it's right in the thick of everyone else. I'll definitely come back and chat to you about the book when you're reading it.

It's a case of buses - I had this and Bury Our Bones in the Midnight Soil come in at the same time from the library (unplanned), so I'm trying to start both! If we set the buddy to start today I'll get to each one when I can? Sorry, I feel so disorganised!

But, if you happen to finish the first two, I might be able to do the third one sometime in August or early September--let me get back to you on that.
