I just finished
Please Don't Lie by Christina Baker Kline and Anne Burt. I could see the potential here, but for Christina Baker Kline, this was a bit underwhelming. Good for a Fast and somewhat Twisty Read. Recommend Audiobook.
I have just finished reading the Seven Sisters series by Lucinda Riley, including the last book-Atlas, the story of Pa Salt
Atlas: The Story of Pa Saltwhich was written by her son, after her death, based on her notes. I really enjoyed these books. They have given me a lot of entertainment this year. I have also learned a lot from them as they all include historical stories from around the world as well as modern day stories.
I enjoyed the ongoing mystery of the Seven Sisters and Atlas and found the ending in the last book a fitting completion to an epic collection of tales.
Thank you posthumously to Lucinda and to Harry for completing your mother's work. You did a good job, I think
Currently reading:
The Women on Platform Two (almost done and it's excellent)
Too Old for This (good, but not great)
Imposter Syndrome (just started, interesting so far)

I finished Brigands & Breadknives. I thought it was good, but I didn't love it. I may be in the minority on this one. 3★

I finished And to All a Good Bite
. It wasn't my favorite in the series, but it was still fun.

I finished Imposter Syndrome
and thought it was another great story in the series. My review is here: https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...
I am now reading ’Salem’s Lot
. I've just begun, but there are a lot of characters. So far, I'm mostly just trying to keep them all straight.

I just finished ’Salem’s Lot today. It was strange to read something set in the 1970s without it being written as historical fiction. Some of the things people would say or do back then would be totally unacceptable now. It makes you want to cringe.
I am now finishing the end of The Women on Platform Two, then starting While It Was Snowing. I'm all around the place with genres today!

This one was cute, but the interfering family took away from the story for me. 3.5★
