Read-n-bloom, thanks for the welcome and the compliment on my WIP. It is in process and I hope to release the first of the series sometime in mid June. Ten Radomocities About Me That Some May Find Interesting
1. I’m a born rebel: not the "motorcycle and leather jacket" kind, although my Husband does own a Harley—bad boys, what can a girl say?
2. I bucked the norm in “Big Pharma” for 15+ years before realizing that the true rebellion was in following my calling as a Christian author.
3. Faith… Coffee… Repeat… is my morning mantra and consists of Bible devotionals with a mix reflection, and LOTS and LOTS of coffee.
4. A storyteller at heart, I’ve been writing stories since I could hold a pen. Writing is my lifeblood.
5. Known as a Christian Fantasy junkie, you could say I’m a Tolkien and Lewis fangirl, with a dash of spiritual warfare in my fictional worlds. I’m all about the unseen battles that shape both character and faith.
6. I have recently been dipping a “pen” in the Fantasy and Dystopian worlds. I’m completely obsessed with AI and have begged my husband to adopt a Tesla Bot as soon as they are in production. Seriously… he has a name—Bradley Booker.
7. I’m unapologetically punny—well, I try to be. Even in the darkest sarcasm, there’s always room for a little lite humor.
8. I like to think of myself as an editorial ninja—cutting right to the heart of my manuscript. I'm all about making my story sing, but who said you can't save a little soul while you're at it?
9. Not your typical Southern Belle, I was born in the North, but got to Texas as soon as I could, so I’m more “Bible Belt” with edge. Yes, I do have a draaaw, but - no I do not wear cowboy boots and a hat, nor do I ride a horse everywhere I go.
10. I like pushing boundaries and creating stories that provoke thought. My latest work - a 7 book Fantasy series, Guardian of the Sacred Relics is an "Indiana Jones" meets "Harry Potter" Fantasy with gifts of The Spirit controlling the world around my characters, instead of the "traditional fantasy" magic. The idea was born out of a desire to make a Christian Alternative for those looking for alternatives.
