abby {zoeystery's version} | 40 comments Not really. I was told I had to, so I did, but it wasn't, in my opinion relevant

Kay (cricket_reads) | 29 comments You should read Caraval first

Zainooo✨(Kai’s version) (zaino) You would understand once upon a broken heart more if u read the caraval series which is really really good in my opinion

elsie (taylor's version) | 189 comments I only read caraval before read ouabh and I understood it fine. I also didn’t like caraval but loved ouabh so

Noa.23 | 62 comments You might miss a little bit of information about the world, but I think you will still be able to understand ouabh. I do recommend reading Caraval though, I enjoyed it more than ouabh:)

Lara ⭐️ | 99 comments I loved caraval and was glad I read it first, but you don’t have to, I would read the first caraval book and if you don’t like it just start ouabh since ik a lot of people didn’t enjoy caraval as much!

Bethan (Kai Azer's Version) | 37 comments i really want to read both and will probably read caraval first but i think it is more you will spoil the end of caraval for yourself if you read ouabh first
also i think caraval helps with world building from what i have read online
if you have no interest in caraval and don't plan on ever reading it then you can just go straight to ouabh i know my friend did that and she was completely fine and absolutely loved it
a lot of people don't like caraval so if you don't think it is your vibe then i wouldn't put bother putting yourself through the effort of buying and reading caraval when you won't even enjoy it
