Hello,

Are books removed from the catalog due to objectionable content? I have noticed a few that have been removed although they don't meet any of the criteria given here: https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...

I ask because there are other books of a similar ilk which are not removed.
Is it policy to remove books due to their content and if so what is the criteria?

For further information, I have not read the books in question but I assume due to their politics they have some offensive content. The titles and descriptions don't appear to be in themselves offensive and/or hateful, which would, of course, be another matter.

There is a bug where the bots mark items as "invalid" or "deleted". Please post a link to the book(s) and we will check if that is the case.

That edition, along with several others, was set to Invalid status by a Goodreads employee, so we librarians can't change it.

However, I have submitted a request to Support for them to revert the Invalid status back to Public. I'll post an update here when they respond.

It's pretty clear this was intentional due to someone at GR disagreeing with the politics.
