Janice (jamasc) | 59887 comments I had abandoned my earlier choice, and I'm almost finished my current audiobook, so I'm pretty sure I could tackle an audiobook and get it finished in time.

I'm going to read Last Port of Call by Jean Grainger. I have two of her books and I'd not read her before.

Oh there is no way I'm finishing it in a week! Just going to start it in January so not really completing the challenge just my own personal challenge!

In fact, I might spread it out across the whole year like I did with Middlemarch last year.

Rusalka (rusalkii) | 19204 comments Heh fair enough, Jen. We believe in you though!!

Sounds like a good one to round out the month, Janice. Hope you enjoy it much more than the first attempt.

Kristie | 19138 comments I finished! The Extraordinary Life of Sam Hell was easy to finish in a short time period. I think I might have enjoyed it even more if I had slowed down to savor it a bit, but I have no complaints and didn't feel the need to put it down at all. I'll definitely be reading more of Dugoni's work.
