I thought I had posted yesterday but did not - or posted it in the wrong thread! LOL
I had thought we'd let Catsalive see the plan and if she wants to change or add anything.

That sounds good to me. I am totally the type of person who thinks I post and then have to go back and check. Especially since I am doing so many different challenges right now.

Quest 1A
As your team makes their way to the closest emergency exit, one of the peacocks smells the flour. It tears at the bag exposing the flour. Your team escapes the bank and are riding your Irish thoroughbreds to safety when you are overcome by thieves. The thieves have taken the flour from you. Do you chase the thieves down? Do you have another plan to recover the flour? Tell me how it goes down.

Ugh, these thieves make me feel a bit bloodthirsty. My ranger may have to send out The Cat Who Tailed a Thief so we can track them and then need to catch the thieves somewhere and get our flour back. I am currently reading
which has some good characters on the cover if we want to use that. I am also reading
which has a sad looking wizard on the cover, butterflies to swarm the thieves and a good title for use in our story.
We went to too much work to get our flour back to let some silly thieves take it! I'm all for going after it. Lol!
Definitely, let's get our flour back! I'm reading
. We could hop on a hot air balloon to follow the thieves from the air? Or at least use the sandbags to knock out a thief or two and tie them up with the rope. lol
Starting point for Quest 1A - Will add as we go and feel free to give any suggestions.Well, there are bound to be some Interesting Times when thieves steal the flour from our heisting heroes.
Rachel the Ranger turns loose The Cat Who Tailed a Thief to start following those nasty flour bandits. The Turned Wyrms then jump into their hot air balloon named The Uncanny Aviator as the thieves try to make a getaway on the ground.

Let me see what books I have coming up that will help. And we can always use our character's skills too!
I think that no matter what we decide we need to make sure we keep this flour somehow once we get it back from the thieves so we don't have to continue chasing it. I have been looking at our characters skills a bit and Angie as a shifter can shift into something and Fi can transform into a rat, horse, spider or wolf. Perhaps that can help us get into and out of a location. There also seems to be some subclasses of the druid that might be of use. Also Fi can fly, produce simple illusions and help plants grow as a fairy.
Catsalive, as a rogue I would imagine you have stealth which should help as well.
Our druid might be able to make use of the geese on the cover as they're pretty feisty & I think one of the druidic skills is talking to animals... we might even Take Two of them with a little legerdemain from a rogue.
I've just put it under Another Plan on the ss for now.
There's a door or window on the cover of this one that may be useful - also a wedding dress & a bat but I'm not sure how they would help us

I just finished this one and not sure if we can use it or not but it has bread in a bag on the cover and is about baking.

Yeah, you guys scare me. I really had to work to come back with that one. You guys had me stuck on how to respond. It was a brilliant plan. I will give you that. My son & I googled until we came up with a solution to come back with. I couldn't let you off too easy...

Donna! I was a little scared of this challenge to be honest, and we didn't mean to scare you or make it hard for you to give us a new quest! Thank you for the kudos on the plan! This was quite fun, once we got started.
I also am really having a good time. I am consistently admiring the creativity of everyone when it comes to organizing challenges.

You think you guys were scared of this challenge? I have never even played D&D. I went into this with an inkling of an idea and a box of cards. I listen to my husband & son play every Friday night. That is the extent of my knowledge of D&D. I am winging this. LOL!

I think our whole team has never played, so we are winging it too! All my D&D knowledge comes from Stranger Things!
by Nina George 26/1 2★This has lavender on the cover for positive energy, an MPG of magical realism (magic may be useful), is set in France & was translated from German (languages may help), and it's about love & books, too :0)
Hey guys! I've not abandoned you! Just had a rough couple of weeks with work - one more and hopefully I will get back in the swing of having a personal life. 😁 I am planning to work on this challenge tomorrow after work. (I would say tonight, but I'm still working so that isn't going to happen....)
I picked up Rachel's start to our Quest and I think I added in everyone's suggestions that were posted here.
This is only a draft and a suggestion - PLEASE - add anything your heart desires or take out/replace anything that you want.
I'm very long-winded apparently..... LOL

Determination is a good thing, but it doesn’t keep those monkey wrenches from appearing out of nowhere!
Well, there are bound to be some Interesting Times when thieves steal the flour from our heisting heroes. We were determined to Track Her Down; oh yes, you guessed it - the Flour Bandits were led by our arch Nemesis!! So off we go to get back our flour….
Rachel the Ranger turns loose The Cat Who Tailed a Thief to start following those nasty flour bandits. The Turned Wyrms then jump into their hot air balloon named, The Uncanny Aviator, as the thieves try to make a getaway on the ground. While Cat and Rachel follow the bandits from above, Fi and Angie follow them on the ground. Fi uses her ability to talk to animals to enlist the help of a flutter of butterflies. Angie is taking the role of “Spell Hound”, she has shifted to her werewolf form to get a quick jump on the thieves and has some magic ready in case the plan wanders off course.
Rachel and Cat report back to The Two of Us that the thieves have stopped in The Little French Village of Book Lovers. I’m sure they thought that would be a good “cover”!! Not only is this little village off the grid, A Fellowship of Bakers & Magic is hosting their local baking competition. That gives our thieves a legit reason for toting around the stolen flour out in the open….well, they did add a loaf of French bread to the bag for good measure.
Cat stealthily lands the hot air balloon out of site. Meanwhile, Rachel uses a little magic spell she picked up at the Bookshops & Bonedust Café to construct a cage made of vines and flowers, thus setting the trap for our unsuspecting thieves.
Since Cat knows how to strike subtly and exploit a foe's distraction, she takes her place sporting a bouquet of lavender for a bit of positive energy! Right on cue, the flutter of butterflies begin dancing around the Flour bandits. The bandits think it’s the smell of the flour luring the butterflies, so they casually follow the butterflies, enjoying their dancing. Using Mind over Magic , Cat takes this opportunity to direct the thieves right into the middle of the flowers and vines – securing them in our trap.
Fi had also used her ability to talk to animals to persuade some pretty feisty geese to act like they are going to attack the Bandits for invading their territory (yep, the vine “cage”). This scared the Bandits because they didn’t want to be bitten by the geese. Those tricky geese instead grabbed the bag with our flour and dropped it at Cat’s fee. We were able to Take Two thieves down with a little legerdemain from a rogue!! Now, that flour when directly into Rachel magic bag to be disguised as books she picked up at the Bookshop.
We left the Bandits trapped in our magic cage….the magic would eventually evaporate and besides thieves need to speed a little time behind bars, even if they are only made of vines.

Thanks, guys! I just put all the suggestions/ideas together. It was fun!
I don't have to write all the stories, you all have great ideas! If you want to write them up into a story, please do! I tend to do things if they stay dormant for a bit, so you will not hurt my feelings if you tell me to stop. LOL

Don't stop. These are brilliant!
I agree with Catsalive! I often have trouble with a complete picture. I can think of a segment but not how it will fit together. I have also been feeling really anxious the past couple weeks and reading rather than thinking has been what helps me out.
I will write them up as long as everyone will give me ideas and segments as you think of them. Deal??
Congratulations on rescuing the bag of flour. You have completed the mission.
Quest #2
After a night in a tavern, each member of the party wakes up in the body of another member with no memory of what happened. One party member's body is gone, however, their mind instead inside a sentient item... a bag of beans.
Are these magic beans? Maybe, maybe not; plant them and find out. Worst case scenario, you could eat them. Do you eat the beans? If they are magic beans, how do you use them? Can you get everyone back in their bodies?
If you eat the beans, spell out BEANS

If you think they are magic beans, start here
Plant the beans
Read a book with dirt on the cover
Read a book with all the letters of BEANS in the title
Read a book with water on the cover
Read a book with a sun on the cover
Step 2: Find a solution to the body problems listed above. Use book titles BUT please use filler words as needed to tell me your solution. Minimum of 4 books. (everyone will do step 2 no matter the choices above)
For those of you playing solo... you will play this as if you were a member of the party experiencing this issue. How would you solve this? You can play as any member the party, one that is in another body or the beans. But you must present a solution.

Lol! If we ate them, wouldn't we be cannibalizing one of our team, since their mind is in them??
Angie ☯ wrote: "Lol! If we ate them, wouldn't we be cannibalizing one of our team, since their mind is in them??"Yes, but then what happens? We just lose a member or do we have to reconstruct from a previous save point (if it was litrpg). It is kind of interesting to think about. Not that I suggest we do it, I'm just thinking "what if?"
This one has water on the cover but we may need the Enchanters so I'll put it in the solution section for now.Enchanters' End Game by David Eddings 22/2 3★
A sentient bag of beans is messing with my head. 🤣Can the missing person be grown back by planting the beans? I guess we'll have to ask it/them? 😖
RachelG. wrote: "I like the idea of the missing person grown back by planting the beans."
We would just need to write up how it comes about! I think.

I grabbed a book called To Slip the Bonds of Earth which might help us in the second part. It also works for BEANS in the title if no one else wants that one.ETA- I also have a book with a sun on the cover, so I can do either one.
