Hey! Checking in but I won't really have time to sit down until we get back home tomorrow. I will admit that I've never played dungeons and dragons before so I'll definitely need some tips on classes and such. Also, I don't really have any ideas for team names.

I'm checking in. I did a lot of role playing in college and throughout my 20's. I've played D & D, but it was never my favorite. I've played Vampire: The Masquerade, Shadow Run, and another game that is similar to D & D, but it was one that my husband and his brother created called Gell. It's been years though since I've done anything. Hopefully it all comes back.

From past experience yes. Different races and class mixes will have different strengths and weaknesses. However with the book version we are playing that might be challenging depending on what team mates will/like to read.

I could probably find the letters of a class in the title pretty easily so I don't mind taking a class that I normally wouldn't read. Any ideas on a team name? We may have to go hunt down Tori. Happy early new year!

Hello, I found my way here.

I've played a few roleplaying games and live with someone who is a huge fan of them. Other things to know, I usually check GR during the week but not on weekends. I live on the west coast of the US. I like to join challenges to get books reccs so if anyone reads anything "amazing" I'd love to hear about it.

I think everyone or some of us (including me) was thinking the drop down needed to be beside the race & class we were choosing, but they are just there to show the options we have to choose from.

A prized 'sack of flour' has been stolen from you, but you've tracked it down to a highly secure bank. The bank will not give it back to you. Do you give up, or plan a heist?

Step 1: Gather your heist materials
Minimum 4 books - items should be on covers or in the title

Step 2: Security - security guards & alarms
Read a book with a security guard character (to distract him)
Read a book with the word alarm in the text (to disable it)
{Create your own additional tasks as needed to fit your plan}

Step 3: Execute your plan - tell me your plan
Use book titles BUT please use filler words as needed to tell me your plan. Minimum of 4 books.

I'm doing heist (or trying to) in my solo thread.

I've found it a bit easier to plan out my items, then find books.

Also, I'm going to leave the plan in someone's had with some creativity. I'm struggling to plan the heist in my thread. It's not going well. I can post what I've came up with so far if you guys think it will help us here. Just let me know.
