Some of the best books I've read have bad covers. I try not to look at them too closely. :)

chapter 1: I like.the description of what he goes through before and during the race. almost "felt" what he was going through

Ch 2: I feel like I'm missing a little bit of backstory, but not too bad. Jonas seems like someone who sacrifices himself for what he thinks is best so lets see if that continues into the relationship with Declan

I agree, theres so many people i havent a clue who they are, so been reading the blurb from previous books to get the basics .

I got through Chapter 10. It's pretty good. It seems to me that Jonah is going to be the issue with the "he's straight", even though Declan basically admitted that he's not and the age gap and Jonah calling him "kid" to keep that distance.

Declan was a bit of a jerk on NYE, but he's adjusting.

I have not read any of them before. Usually its not such a big deal.

I don't mind Declan. Jonas is a bit self-sacrificing for my taste. Declan needs to grow up and come out to his family at least....IMO. I get its hard, but its gotta be hard to hide too.

Im way behind , declan just coming out of hospital, got sidetracked with reading all instructions with new challenges starting soon ( which arnet going to be as easy as i though , so def not doing Spell )

Rowan is great.

Declan and Jonas are moving along nicely.

75% in and Declan is still quiet with his family, but got caught by Maren. That turned out good so hopefully.

I got nervous when the racing team wanted a second opinion. I don't think this is going to turn out good, but that Mark reporter guy seems like a good person to know.

87% Complete....When he decided to do it, he really did it. Just with his Dad, but its a start.

Finally finished , went out with friends last night and Chris off work and keeps sugguesting stuff to watch on tv, so taking me ages to finish a book 🙄🙄


It was ok , not the best Annabeth Albert book ive read .
Never really connected to either MC , much prefered the kids .their relationship was very rushed. But it was angst free which was good .
Ill still try and read the rest of the series though
