The page count of 248 is correct according to the book's amazon page, which is the preferred source for kindle editions. Please see this link for more information on what Goodreads does and does not count when it comes to page numbering: (https://help.goodreads.com/s/article/...)

it's not an Amazon Kindle book so the page count can't and won't be the same, just like the Standard Ebooks edition based on Project Gutenberg editions won't have the same page counts even though it's more or less the same text - that's what different formatting does, add or subtract page count, kinda obvious no?
