Every Hour Until Then (Timeless, #5) by Gabrielle Meyer
This is the latest entry in one of my absolute favourite historical fiction series, and the author has continued to maintain her high standard.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 10006 comments I'm loving the Rocky Start series by Jennifer Crusie and Bob Mayer, and Cris Dukehart and Eric G. Dove do an excellent audio rendition. 5★s for Very Nice Funerals: Rocky Start, Book 2

The Maid's Secret (Molly the Maid, #3) by Nita Prose
The last book in the Maid trilogy and the biggest disappointment of the series.

PattyMacDotComma | 3318 comments I forgot I had Maria Isabel Sanchez Vegara's Little People biography of Leonard Cohen to review! As always, the anecdotes and illustrations are a great way to introduce children to the big dreamers who enrich our lives.

PattyMacDotComma | 3318 comments The Third Act of Theo Gruene by Talya Tate Boerner takes place during the pandemic when neighbours sometimes became extended families. Theo's quiet life of science changes when a bright little girl appears at his front door wearing a too-big, lime-green raincoat and asks to stay. A nice read.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 10006 comments Cheese was the best part of Kristin Vukovic's disappointing debut, The Cheesemaker's Daughter, and the audio version was done no favours by Sophie Amoss's dreary drone. 2★s

Carolyn | 9895 comments We Are All Guilty Here (North Falls, #1) by Karin Slaughter We Are All Guilty Here by Karin Slaughter is a dark, twisty thriller combined with a family drama set in a small town. A great start to a new series.

Marianne (cloggiedownunder) | 10006 comments Late to the party with Colm Tóibín's Brooklyn, but I chanced upon the sequel, Long Island in my local street library, so I needed to start here. 5★s

Rosh ~catching up slowly~ (roshreviews) | 741 comments Unnatural Selection by Coco Cooper
Unnatural Selection by Coco Cooper
A contemporary satire about a dog who acts human. Kinda weird, and fairly entertaining except for the final quarter.
