I loved that book. It was one of my 5 star reads of 2024, and there weren't that many. I devoured the whole thing in about 24 hours. I also went out of my way to buy the book with the original cover because the one they are changing it to was so corny and not really reflective of the story at all.

I try not to think about the cover ever 🤣 Apart from that, the book is pretty entertaining, even though the author threw in a lot of things from other books I’ve read so nothing quite stood out to me as original. And to be honest Kingfisher sounds like a boat name…
But at some point you’re just hooked and there’s no going back, will definitely read book 2. Do we have any info on release date?

it’s Fae…so kingfisher isn’t his true name (iykyk) and honestly i loved acotar AND fourth wing and still thoroughly enjoyed Quicksilver! and i found it was very creative and original so… just read and form your own opinion :) it’s seriously so good

I know the feeling, very often (more than I care to admit) I get influenced by covers and reviews. I know I shouldn't do that, but if they're bad I can't get myself to read a book!
