20.1 Most Improved -Kathy KS's Task: Family and Holidays

The favorite part of the Holidays for me, personally, is the opportunity to spend some time with family. Amazingly enough, I’m now the eldest of our four generations! Options for this task will be centered around family. Read one book from these options. State the option.

Option 1 - One of my passions, other than reading, is researching genealogy. I research the family history of my children’s paternal line, my husband’s line, and my own, including the families of my kids- and grandkids-in-law.
Read a book from the first 25 pages of this list: Genealogy Books
Although most are non-fiction, some on the list are fiction. Either is fine.
Required: State the page.

Option 2 - Our four generations are spread around now, which makes our get-togethers even more special.
Read a book set at least 50% in one of the places in which some of our family members live: California, Kansas, Mississippi, North Carolina, or Germany.
Required: If the setting is not evident from the main page, provide a reference.

Option 3 - My first great grandchild was born this year, so this will be her first Christmas. She’s my first female descendant born since her grandmother was born over forty years ago!
To celebrate them, read a book first published in either 1981 or 2024.
