Do they have characters and/or settings in common? The goodreads librarian manual requires there to be a significant link between books to be a series.

Hi, sorry to make this complicated. Some (but not all) of the characters went to finishing school together. They are called Miss Brown's Belles and live in Gilded Age New York City.
