https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Christian Historical Mystery with a little Romance
4th book in the Frederick and Grace Mystery series
Funny, heartwarming at times, plenty of adventure, action, & suspense

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

PamG (lynguy1) | 1025 comments Here is my 4.13 rounded to 4 stars review of The Night Collector by Victor Methos:

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Legal / Crime Thriller
2nd book in the Vegas Shadows series
Well-crafterd plot, great characterization, suspenseful
Investigation and Trial
I didn't like the ending. The case is solved, but there's a major situation that is left up in the air. Otherwise, this would have been a 5-star read for me.
The Night Collector (Vegas Shadows Book 2) by Victor Methos

Laura B | 19 comments I gave this book a 3*** star rating because I averaged out the first half (which was so-so) and the exciting second half of the book. I loved the premise, and I am glad I stuck with it to the end.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Contemporary Romance
Second Chance
Entertaining and light for the most part with a couple of deeper themes.
Humorous at times
Quibbles include: some telling vs. showing and the romance advancing too quickly
You Make It Feel Like Christmas by Sophie Sullivan

Aaron Edward | 1 comments I just started Stieg Larsson’s ‘The Girl Who Played With Fire.’ Love it so far. It’s been a while since I read the first installment of the trilogy, and Larsson really brings you back in with terse prose and fast-moving, detail-oriented plot. I keep trying to figure out what makes his writing so addictive. I think it’s his straight-over-the-plate descriptions. Very little visuals, very little metaphor. Just solid accounts of the events occurring, with in-depth character perspective. No fluff, all movement. And compelling, complex plot.

Elisabeth Rose (elisabethrose) | 949 comments I’m reading Alexander Dumas The Queen's Necklace Based on true events involving an incredible con in the late 1700s in Paris. Marie Antoinette was the Queen but she wasn’t part of it, although rumours spread and the whole affair soured her name with the public and helped fuel the revolution. Fascinating read.

https://www.goodreads.com/review/show...

Political / Espionage Thriller
2nd book in the Mac Dekker series
Entertaining thriller
Race against the clock
Plenty of twists and turns
Flashbacks help readers understand what has transpired but adversely affected the flow for me.
