Would you be willing to swap yours with two of my 60K or less word books? Both are in the same series--they are historical/sci-fi romance sober mashup. One is done now and the next will be done by the end of the month.First blurb: In the year 1342 after colonization of the planet Samh, the Viscount of La Sountain is sent on a mission to one of its moons. Through connections he makes there, he is thrust into the path of a beautiful heiress, whose guardian only sees her as a way of making money. On the front, he is a doctor who sits on the board of the Anorraq War Infirmary. Behind the scenes he is a spy working under the Count of Anorraq. Will he be able to use his talents to stop the beautiful Abaledina’s arranged marriage and convince her that he is her love match when he has to keep changing his appearance and sometimes disappearing altogether?
For both of mine, I primarily want to know if (1) this new mashup of genres works; (2) are both the male and female leads sympathetic characters; (3) does the romance work? The first story is based on true events.
I will give you a detailed worksheet with overall comments for yours and use the comments feature to mark things.
Message me through Goodreads with a Google Doc link to your work if you are interested.

The story is made for adults, but has nothing explicit (a little implications of thing but nothing more) in it and could be read by teenagers as well. It deals with loss, trauma, war, freedom, family, loyalty, responsibility and more. It will be part of a three book series, but could stand on its own.
The book is set in a world where some individuals, born with divine blessings, took it as a sign that they should lead and watch over those who don't, as it was the gods' will.
Our protagonist, Carter, is a humble merchant that usually wishes to avoid their watch, because some of the things he deals with were deemed illegal; like items that store blessings that someone born with them was willing to depart with. Avoiding their watch is also cheaper in taxes.
When a group of rebels ask his help to smuggle in weapons from an enemy nation, he is hesitant to oblige, but their promise, and the promise of the future, might be too alluring.
