I would rate this book a 4/5 This book is about a boy doesn't trust anyone he who gets into trouble and escapes, running away he wants to go back to his family to protect his mom. He knows its wrong after meeting someone who opened his eyes on life and risks his life for other people which is unusual.

Cash Good | 4 comments The book "World War Z" is a great book all in all but, I like more gore or mystery. I just started the book so it might get there but its like a 6/10 right now. He has a very big variety of books and I like the way he tells the story.

Jenny Han
3/5
I rate it a 3 out of 5 because I have watched the show and it’s kinda similar but not fully. Sometimes it’s difficult to figure out who’s talking but for the most part I understand. I think it’s a very good book and is my style but next time I’ll choose something a little different because this isn’t what I normally read, but is still a good read.

Dakota Lentz | 4 comments I've read several books this quarter, but the one i'm currently reading is The Lord of the Rings: The Fellowship of the Ring, by J.R.R Tolkien. I give it a 5/5 since I like the detail it goes into. However, it's a confusing book, and I like that. I like a complex, multifaceted story.

Ryanne Filippi | 4 comments My book is The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, by Stephen King, I rate this book a 3/5 so far, it has a lot of good detail and its fun to read and I'm actually interested in what's next, the only thing I don't like is how long it takes to get to the point.

message 56: by Kyrie (new)

Kyrie Lecatsas | 2 comments The book It's not summer without you by Jenny Han is a 5/5 so far. There is some romance and sadness. Im half way through. Susannah died at the beginning, and now Conrad is missing. I'm excited to finish reading the book.

Kaylee Sanders-Davis | 3 comments My book is A child called "It" By Dave Pelzer, I give it a 5/5 because it is very interactional. It has cliff hangers making it fun to read and easy to follow along with. A Child Called It

Zack Arts | 4 comments I am reading the girl who was supposed to die by April henry, I read it a four out of five. This story is very action packed and thrill seeking, making the reader very engaged.

Leah Silva | 3 comments My ORP book is titled Wildfire, by Hannah Grace. I rate this book a 4/5. I’m currently half way through the book and I really enjoy it, but at times it gets long winded and I lose focus. This book go back and forth between Aurora and Russ’s point of view. Using this style of writing really helps me understand what’s happening. This books story is also very detailed and tells how Aurora and Russ met, there “situation” together, how they lose contact and then leads to them finding eachother at a summer camp and they reconnect their bond.

Della Williams | 2 comments How To Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie
4/5
Personally the worst part of this book is the title, I feel as if the title can be misleading, this book is less about making friends than it is on how to be a respected leader. Each section of the book has personal tales and interesting points, all while giving great tips. I would recommend this book to anybody interested in psychology. The language in this book can be more advanced at times, leaving reader with a different vocabulary confused. But in all, I've thoroughly enjoyed reading this book, there is no specific to follow and can start reading at practically any page/chapter.

message 61: by Lexie (new)

Lexie Thacker | 4 comments The book is called Stolen by Lucy Christopher and I rate it so far a 3/5 only because I haven't finished it but I'm able to read it having a lot of detail definitely having me on my toes wanting know how it all plays out for the girl that got stolen.

Kipton | 3 comments Johanna wrote: "What is the title, author, and your current rating out of 5 stars for the book you're reading. Why does it earn that rating from you?"

the book is Friday Night Lights H.G. Bissinger. I give it a 4/5 starts because it has good action in it and he has big plays and he had a big injury and they talk about the big games that are happing and going to happen.

Jacob Marino | 3 comments Johanna wrote: "What is the title, author, and your current rating out of 5 stars for the book you're reading. Why does it earn that rating from you?"

On The Shoulder of Giants by Stephen Hawking.
I give this book a 3/5, I like some specific parts, but a lot of others aren't anything to write home about, thus giving it a middle score in my opinion.

message 64: by Austin (new)

Austin Mckinney | 2 comments The Contender by Robert Lipstyle, its a really good like a 4/5 and is about boxing

message 65: by Brayden (new)

Brayden Lane | 3 comments My book is the life of Steph curry. It is about his life and how he got to where he is right now. it is a nonfiction biography about his life.

message 66: by Davis (new)

Davis Priest | 4 comments I've been reading Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins. I'd give the book a 4.5 stars out of 5. The book is very thought out and it uses a lot of events in the previous books in the series to help build it. It is very thought out, which makes it more interesting to read.

message 67: by Isaac (new)

Isaac Harris | 4 comments Autobiography of Walter Payton Never Die Easy by Don Yaeger 5/5 this book shows that being a NFL player isn't all sunshine and rainbows while being paid big bucks. It's a grind and like a job for many. I really like this book because it has so many sources, like his teammates friends and family all said something or got interviewed by the author. This book is really easy to follow, and you can even jump around because its not like a story as much as an autobiography. And so if your into sports or just need a book to read this is a good go to.

message 68: by Avery (new)

Avery Pfaff | 3 comments If I had told her by Laura Nowlin is a series to if I had been with him they are both love stories I just recently started this book so I am going to give it a 5/10 but the book before was very good so I have high hopes of this one.

message 69: by Gaige (new)

message 72: by Lincoln (new)

Lincoln Thennes | 4 comments Callaghen by Louis L'amour
This book is a 4.5/5 stars. I rate it this a 4.5 because not only how descriptive it is but because of the creative stories that it tells. It's about Callaghen, an army soldier, that is stuck in the desert and eventually finds gold.

message 73: by Spencer (new)

Spencer Mason | 4 comments Snake Head by Anthony Horowitz I give this book a 4/5 because it is a pretty fast passed book and I like that but it is very predictable so I don't like that

message 75: by Gunner (new)

Gunner Hemphill | 4 comments I have the book Michael Jordan the Life, I give it a 4/5. The book deserves this rating because it gives info on every game he played. It also has a lot of suspense even in an autobiography.

message 76: by Keith (new)

Keith Nelson | 3 comments Dragon Hoops. author Gene Luen Yang. rating 5.
I put my rating as a 5 because I like it a lot because it is a basketball book.

message 77: by Shepard (new)

Shepard Brooksby | 4 comments The book, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling is a 3.5/5. The book deserves this rating because it is quite interesting, however it goes into the same events as the last book of this series, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. This may be however just because I am only around page 60 right now, but until then I believe it deserve this rating.

message 78: by Abbie (new)

Abbie Peters | 3 comments Heart Bones by Colleen Hoover is a 4/5. I'd say its a 4/5 because its kept my interest and I'm not even that far into the book. It's also just a easy story to understand.

message 79: by Alexis (new)

Alexis | 3 comments Five feet apart by Rachael Lippincott with Nikki Daughtry and Tobias Laconis is a 4/5. So far this book is pretty good, I haven't gotten through it much, but it catches my attention

message 80: by Hailey (new)

Hailey Wingfield | 2 comments It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover. I rate this book 2/5. This book is not my favorite of hers that I have read. I am not really a fan of the characters in this book. The characters are kind of bland and the story line is interesting. I was expecting it to be a more similar style to the Maybe Someday book she wrote, but it wasn't. I think next time I will get a different book by a different author.
