If someone really doesn't want to participate even if it's their pick, let me know and I'll avoid them :)

If someone really doesn't want to participate even if it's their ..."
I myself read a lot of romance with some other things sprinkled in.
I do read memoirs and some non-fiction, but it's few and far between and has to be about something or someone that I'm interested in and not just to do it for a challenge.
I'll wait to see what you guys come up with and if it's something I like I'll participate.

I wouldn't worry too much about the book scores as most of the points seemed to be geared towards buddy reads which don't really suit our group as we have a too diverse range of what we enjoy. More important that you enjoy the book

Way to go! I have 4 left to find. I've been hoping some of these books that are due back at the library soon would fit.

Ah...I would, but I've already invited a new person to HOB & suggested that she invite 2 others. Next time though, for sure!

That will be great, you will need to sign up and mention that that you are joining Shan and me

Possibly this? No idea.

Starting July 1, earn 10 points per book by reading titles that begin with the same letter as your first name (e.g., “Matilda” for Michael). Unlimited entries—as long as the books fit this month’s tasks!
Ready? Let’s bridge those bookshelves and build some bonds! 💬📚🫶

Well done! Have two to go which hopefully should get done this weekend.
Books mentioned in this topic
Around the World in 80 Trains: A 45,000-Mile Adventure (other topics)The Bone Shard Daughter (other topics)
The Light Pirate (other topics)
Shadow and Bone (other topics)
Same here, Shan. And I'd only do it if it was a non-fiction, like a memoir...which I know isn't everyone's cup of tea.
