I don’t know who my Santa was, but thank you for the copy of James by Percival Everett! I was too intimidated to buy it on my own. I know that it’s an important read, just couldn’t commit to buying it myself. So, I put it on my list in the hopes that my Secret Santa would get it for me. It worked!

My SS package arrived last week (I think!), but try as I might to hold out until the holidays, my curiosity got the better of me.
To my wonderful Secret Santa, wherever you may be: thank you, thank you, thank you! I'm completely smitten with this journal. The cover is a dream – so soft and inviting – and the way it falls open like a well loved paperback makes my writer's heart sing. It's absolutely perfect, and I can't wait to fill all the pages with stories, spells, and dreams.

It stressed me out when I got three different tracking numbers. I couldn't figure out why they would split the order when I ordered them simultaneously. I don't have many bookish friends in my immediate circle so it was fun getting to buy books for someone else :) Happy reading!

And I signed up for Secret Santa twice, so I figured they must be from my second sign up-Santa.
