We can't help it if they refuse to read and therefore understand the need for extensive lists. As I'm sure all of you know, bookstores and libraries always seem to have slow internet speeds that prevent your phone from loading your lists in an acceptable time frame (instantaneous) when you are looking for books. Because of that we require three ring binders, spreadsheet print outs, receipts and in my case a pocket full of bookmarks in order to make informed purchases. Also, for those nonbook lovers who have given me funny looks in the bookstore when I snap a picture of a book cover, there is nothing creepy going on. I just don't have a pen and/or bookmark available, and I need to record the information to add to my never-ending TBR. Lea wrote: "I concur with this entire paragraph.
You're not the only one. I also take photos of book covers too and try to update my spreadsheets later. Just like some people need the perfect belt to complete their outfit, I have a need to find the perfect book to read when I'm in different moods, and that requires a lot of research and list making. :-)"
It feels so nice to be in a place where you're understood, lol
Yup to everything both of you said

It is a children's book about a pilot who is stranded in the desert, where he meets the little prince. I read the book itself - it is only 96 pages. I may also listen to the audiobook - I've heard it is a great recording and it is only 44 minutes. I wonder if I'll get more out of the audiobook. We'll see. I liked it, I would recommend it to others, but I didn't find deep meaning to it as some people have. 3 stars"I think I liked it more because I remember my father reading it to me when I was little. That adds to the charm :-)

Yes! I love having a place where some of my little obsessions are normalized. :-)

I have many books that make me feel good when I read them because I remember reading them with my family. Maybe nowadays I wouldn't rate the books so high, but they take me back to a moment in time and give me happy feelings, so they deserve the high rating. I'm sure if I had a memory like that with this book, I'd have rated it much higher. I still really liked the book and am excited to listen to it, now that I've read it.
