Louder than Hunger is inspired by John Sch's own struggle with an eating disorder. While majority of books tackling this topic are written from a female perspective, Louder Than Hunger offers readers with an underrepresented viewpoint in eating disorders. How do you think it will fare in the Printz category?

This is a terrific book! Not sure if it was Printz worthy but definitely a good one to share with teens.

I think this poll was for the 2025 Printz, which came out in January 2025 and was for books published the previous year. The year of the award is always a year later than the year of publication.
