4. Why Such Books

4. With reference to the list of books in question 3, there are of course many other books on this topic we've not read. Why are there so many books written on this topic, and why do you think we as a group have chosen to read so many of them?

In the last century we have witnessed a drastic and ever-accelerating increase of anti-Christianity in the world (specially in Europe and the U.S.) Obviously, Catholic Christians feel threatened and tend to be pessimistic about the future. We look for solutions, for ways to change the trend.

This group, made mainly of Catholics, is subject to this mood. No surprise, then that we have read so many books about the subject.
