#11 Lionheart I either didn't realize or forgot that this is only the first book about Richard the Lionheart. Only Sharon Kay Penman could make me read through so many battles. As usual, the writing is excellent and the author's note is not to be missed. 4.5 stars

It might be interesting.
It might be interesting.
I have read everything by Penman, and I am so sad that there won't be anything more I can read for the first time. One of these days, I will re-read. :-)

I still have a few more of hers to read first including the Justin de Quincy mysteries. Have you read those?

Still good, but very different.
I was introduced to Penman when a friend gave me Here Be Dragons. I was swept up in it and began to read through her series.
