So i go to the gym for more than a year and there is this guy, i think he is very attractive and i really want to talk to him or get his number idk. I kinda “liked” him as a gym crush for 6-7 months. I had no interaction with him apart from a couple eye contact. I talk to ny friends and decided to go for it. So for a week i tried to go talk to him but he was with his friend and that friend is from my school so it felt awkward because what if he rejected me so i waited for another day but again the same happened. I know some information about him that he finished school and is 19 and im 17 but in one month i turn 18. Can you guys help me how to approach him or what to say because I wanted to say that I thought that he is really attractive and then ask for his number but idk maybe there are some cheat codes for this

Girl I love coming on here and giving my advice but you have me stumped, I haven't asked out a man in years but I mean I agree with Mirnelis, just strike up a gym conversation (no idea what that would be like I don't go to the gym) and like start as a friendship or something? ask him to spot you and then like just keep talking to him maybe? idk thats all I've got.
