      I started this a couple of days ago & am about a third of the way through.After a couple of Wharton reads have been disappointing for me - this one looks to be close to her best. :)

 Finished this afternoon - well written but such a dreadful main character in Undine.
      Finished this afternoon - well written but such a dreadful main character in Undine.Would have loved to find out how her son got on in later life - how the mother son relationship turned out and how Undine was when she grew old.
 I think this is my best read of the year - can't believe it took me so long to get to it.
