I have no chance do as much buddy reads as yous, audio not agree with me, plus lots on my piles are outside our group reads. From fantasy and sci-fi I have some Cassandra Clare, Robin Hobb, Brendon Sanderson, Robert Jordan, Terry Goodkind plus few more, but not complete series so they're waiting for my attention. Rest is crime, thriller and history stuff 😁
I do alot of mysteries and thrillers, some become group BRs, the rest I do with Tammie in our thread...
Also, there's plenty of room for more BRs in the schedule right now... my commitments have shrunk month by month since May... with Nirkatze caught up, we can start seeing who wants to add more to the schedule...
Ann-Marie is working on catching up, too...

I have 6 for this month if I find Deadhouse Gates, 6 next month and 4 for September so far... So my piles will reduce a bit 😁. Want to read Women's Murder Club by James Patterson but missing book 5 and 25.. So have to wait a bit 🤣 and hopefully will finish Brother Cadfael series this year.

Iain/Nirkatze, yes y'all are in all buddy reads. :D which is great as you engage, it becomes easier for the other folks to do so as well. :)
I've done only 2 BRs last month. I have dungeon crawler and sun eater series planned with the group. But, I will propose more for EOY and next year to see if my reads line up with anyone.
I would've read Cadfael with ya, Monika, if I could find it.My in-person book clubs often choose mainstream lit books (that I'm not really interested in), but I still post the lists in the invite thread once I get them--and I'd say 80% get takers... Coming up, Welcome to the World, Baby Girl!, The Alice Network, and Hamnet all found someone to read with me...
To be honest I should finish it last year, but had some other reads... Still have 2 books from Netgalley which are last year stuff... My schedule is totally messed up

So, if you got a 'little' list of what you absolutely want to read, we can look what date fits best?
Monika wrote: "Thank you Saar 😁. I have some Alison Weir and Philippa Gregory on my piles if you are interested..."I'm interested in Philippa Gregory. Which series do you prefer?
Monika wrote: "Wideacre trilogy if you didn't read this one yet Saar."My library doesn't have the series, but others have or I can look on Kindle. So, fine for me. Maybe we should move this to the BR planning - thread?

I'd join that buddy read
Hi - I'm also pretty late this year, but I was wondering if I could be added to the sign up sheet too! If not, no worries, I can always wait until next year :p
There's a 100 comment requirement, to participate, that way participants have become a bit active in the group and have a few Buddy Reads under their belt...

When the stars align and multiple people are refreshing Goodreads at the same time, you can have some great rapidfire conversations, otherwise it's just slow and steady natural commenting...
I've been in the group nearly 8 years next month, and Nirkatze has been here 4 years in November... only other person with more than 10k comments is Choko after nearly 9 years in the group at 13k... top 10 includes most of the OG moderators of the group...
