In the year 2021 I read my first Haruki Murkami novel: 1Q84. Since then, I've been slowly making my way through his work. Last summer, I read my sixth Murakami: the city and its uncertain walls (Dutch edition).
The book inspired me to make a data art piece. It started as an idea, turned into a poster, and is now transforming into a collection of minimalistic data visualisations animations of the rhythm of his longer novels.
