Anastasia, because its story speaks volumes of love and resilience, transformation, and deep connection. At its core, the movie mirrors qualities I value; strength through adversity, the search for belonging, and the romantic idea of rediscovering who you truly are with someone who strips your darkness away. The lost Grand Duchess journey of reclaiming her identity feels personal, as I value authenticity, and the courage to face your scars, much like she does. Her fiery independence and vulnerability align with my admiration for strength that isn’t afraid to show emotion. Plus, the romantic arc between Anastasia and Dmitri appeals to my love for partnerships that evolve through trust, friction, and shared purpose.
The movie’s enchanting blend of history, fantasy, and love resonates with my passion for finding beauty and meaning in life’s deeper mysteries. It’s not just a fairy tale to I. It’s a story of breaking free from the shadows, finding your light, and discovering a love that feels like home.

Historical Context: Video Description ‘(^.^)’
“This video is dedicated to the Romanov family who were the Imperial Family of Russia. Though Tsar Nicholas II made many mistakes causing the great struggle in Russia, it wasn't right to take the lives of innocent children including Anastasia, Olga, Tatiana, Maria and Alexei . If we've learned anything from them, it would be the importance of family.”
One of the best love stories ever captured in animation (My personal opinion). Anastasia is a 20th Century Fox film and was not produced by Disney.

I truly believe that rebuilding lives with a fiery passion means mending the scars buried deep beneath the seams, easing the invisible burdens that weigh on someone’s soul, and making them feel lighter, more whole. It’s about igniting a spark of hope where darkness once reigned. In every movie we cherish, I think we find pieces of ourselves; traits we admire, emotions we understand, and dreams we hold close. Perhaps I point these out too vocally at times, but it’s because stories like Anastasia resonate so profoundly. Sometimes, fewer words might carry the message, but their weight is no less significant.
Even in its historical context, which took decades to unravel, the film captures something universal: the idea that hope, even when fractured, still endures. It’s a fragile yet unyielding light that inspires us to heal, to love, and to believe in the beauty of rediscovery.
I guess what I'm really trying to say is, no one really wants to be left alone... We all want someone we can trust and not feel so guarded around, to be seen, heard, and understood... & maybe just maybe be accepted in the public's light... For who we truly are beneath it all...
How To Train Your Dragon, Spirit, Howl's Moving Castle, Brother Bear, Treasure Planet, Prince of Egypt

Prince of Egypt. The story, the depiction, the music!! It was a beautiful piece of work. The music is amazing, it's an experience you cannot miss! One of my favourite movies featuring bible stories.
how to train your dragon 1&2 will always be my favorite 🖤 I don’t think a live action 𝘯𝘦𝘦𝘥𝘦𝘥 to happen, but the trailer looks so good i’m so excited!!! i’m glad the same director/crew/and voice actor are returning to their roles because it’ll stick true to the original source material

i grew up on japanese animation, and one that has stayed with me since i've watched is "ookami kodomo no ame to yuki" - and also any ghibli films are just these time capsules, especially howl's moving castle. i don't think any other of ghibli could compare now that the memories i have with howl's movie is ingrained into me :))
