[BWF] The End by Lemony Snicket 3+ stars

The title is ironic; on the one hand, it's the end of this series and the unfortunate events that followed them after their parents died. On the other hand, they are still children so there may be many more years to their story. Who knows? Snicket hasn't told us.

The cover gives you all of the spoiler you need--whose feet are those lying in the water? Where are the Snicket children? How did they get there? What will they do? There are some hints as to events that happen in this book in the blurb.

This is a clever series, even though I only liked it and didn't love it--it's more a matter of personal taste than the writer's execution--as in execution of a task, what did you think I meant? I can see why it has been so wildly popular.
