need help with my bsf

so recently my bsf has been going through a lot and idk how to help bc its hard for me to comfort people. smth happened at school for her and now everyone is crap talking her at school and messing w her and i can tell it's really upsetting her plus she just got glasses and she thinks she looks stupid and idk how to help but i really want to

try telling her u r always there for her
that she can tell u anything, u won't judge her but rather be with her and hold her up.

first of all I feel sooo sorry for your best friend!! I've had something similar once and at that time I really wanted someone to talk to. It seems like she already knows that she can talk to you. Next time you talk to her, tell her about how difficult it is for you to comfort people but that you'll try your best. Maybe you could try to cheer her up maybe surprise her with some selfmade cookies or something.

I think the most important thing is to really just stick by her. Have her know that she's not alone and she has someone to count on/confide in.

you could just listen. everyone needs an extra set of ears sometimes maybe she just needs to rant and tell you what she's going thru that helps. and also I've had glasses my whole life basically she shouldn't be ashamed of herself over a pair of glasses.
