Hell of a Book by Jason Mott

Hell of a Book is one hell of a book. I will think about this one for a long time. This book about being a black man in America will definitely make you pay attention. The idea that parents teach their sons to be invisible so as to not be seen is so sad. No one should go through life trying to not be seen.

Early on the book seems scattered and maybe a little hard to follow, but as you keep reading/listening it all starts to come together and it all makes sense. And becomes very powerful.
